The A64 motorway runs along the northern foothills between Bayonne, Pau, Tarbes and Toulouse; the A9 links Perpignan with Spain. French motorways are tolled. In Spain, the A-23 and A-21 serve Aragón, and the C-16 with the Cadí tunnel links Barcelona with the Cerdanya.
